KUCHING, Feb 6 2026: Klinik Kesihatan (KK) Jalan Masjid has extended its opening hours on a trial basis for six months, since Feb 2.

Deputy Premier Dr Sim Kui Hian said this is to decongest the Green Zone of the Emergency Department of the Sarawak General Hospital.
He said the opening hours from Monday to Friday are from 8am to 9pm, instead of 8am to 5pm and on Saturday, from 8am to 1pm.
“KK Jalan Masjid is the only health clinic in whole of Sarawak with such an expanded operational hours,” Dr Sim, who is also the Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government, said in his Facebook post today.
He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health (MoH) for the innovative ideas as a trial run forsix months.
He said KK Jalan Masjid is one of the oldest health clinics in Kuching, being type 2 with all the medical facilities.
He added there two medical doctors on duty during the extended hours, assisted by the nurses, pharmacists, medical assistants and other supporting staff.
“As KK Jalan Masjid not only has Cloud-Based Clinic Management System (CCMS) but also the first health clinic with online payment, though the charge is only RM1.
“If you do not have serious sickness, but need to see a doctor, please come to KK Jalan Masjid, to use the extended hours of operation so we can help to decongest the Green Zone of Emergency Department of the Sarawak General Hospital,” he advised.
