MIRI, July 16, 2014: One hundred and seventy
people from Baram were on a two-day visit this week to the resettlement areas
of Sungai Asap and Tegulang in the Belaga District.
A venue to express opinions and views on social issues, native customary rights land, cultures and traditions of the Dayak community as well as to voice out the problems and grievances of the indigenous and rural communities.

These Penans can now write and read, thanks to SEB
MURUM, July 16, 2014: Some 341 Penans, who used to be
illiterate, can now write and read in simple Bahasa Malaysia.
