Village headmen asked why their NCR land declared communal reserves under Section 6 of the Land Code

Four longhouse headmen from Layar in Betong, in a press conference held this morning at PKR Betong headquarters, have come forward with documentary evidence that their NCR lands have been declared Native Communal Reserves under Section 6 of the Sarawak Land Code.

The S4S debate will proceed on 10 April 2016 with most of the parties with seats in the Dewan Undangan Negeri – PBB, PRS, DAP and SPDP – all running scared from facing the Rakyat.

Villagers says they don't want Kaiduan Dam to be built in their area

KOTA KINABALU: Villagers impacted by the proposed Kaiduan Dam must be consulted and  collectively give the nod before researchers are allowed access to carry out a Social Impact Assessment (SIA), the Task Force Against Kaiduan Dam (TAKaD) said today.
