SIMUNJAN, Nov
13, 2015 - Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nancy Shukri attended a
fund-raising lunch organised by parent-Teachers' Association (PTA) of SK
Keniong, near here, yesterday.
Among others,
the fund is to be used to buy materials for the erection of the school's fence
for the safety and protection of the pupils.
Nancy said she
would set aside an allocation next year towards the cost of erecting the fence.

Nancy also said
it pays for the parents to motivate their children to work harder in their
study.
"Let us
make education an important agenda in our families in line with the government
aspirations to produce an educated future's generations," she said.
She added that
parents must realise that education is a step to a successful life, not only it
can change the future direction where they want to go to but also can help to
improve their well-being.
