SPAOH, May 10 2026: The construction of the Bebuling new stolport project, worth RM248 million, has now reached 99.9 percent progress and is expected to be fully completed by June this year.

He said he is satisfied with the progress of the project, which now had only a few minor works left before it could be fully completed.
“After the construction work is completed, the airport will need to undergo several technical requirements, including flight tests, to ensure operational readiness before being fully used,” he told reporters during the visit to Bebuling stolport (Short Take-Off and Landing port)
He is also optimistic that the new facility will have a major impact on the development of the Spaoh and Betong areas, especially in improving accessibility, boosting the local economy and opening up the potential of the tourism and investment sectors.
