SIBU, Jan 31 2026: A motorcyclist was killed when he was pinned under a car in an accident at Jalan Kemuyang, Sibu Jaya last night.

Sibu Jaya Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) station, in a statement, the accident happened about 10.20pm involving a motorcycle and two cars.
The station said the motorcyclist was confirmed dead by the personnel from the Ministry of Health. (MoH).
“The station received a call from a member of the public, informing of the accident,” it said.
A team from the station was dispatched to the scene and found the motorcyclist under one of the car.
The statement said the firemen surrendered the lifeless body of the motorcyclist to the MoH personnel and police after retrieving it from under the car.
Meanwhile, three persons were injured in a three-vehicle collision at 18km Jalan Bako in Kuching.
The injured were travelling in a car when the accident happened about 9.40am this morning.
According to Tabuan Jaya Fire and Rescue Department, the three were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
The injured are identified as Hamdan Bin Edem Rajanah Binti Buang and Maimunah Binti Buang.
The drivers of LEXUS Ko Ngap Yau and Hyundai Tan Kee Yau escaped without injuries.
