KUCHING, Aug 14, 2014: A thick
dossier containing information that affects the integrity of Selangor chief
minister Khalid Ibrahim has been distributed to all the branches of Parti
Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) throughout the country.

Copies of the dossier were
distributed to the branches over the last two days.
Copies of the dossier were
also distributed to DAP and PAS leaders.
"The party leadership has
decided to distribute dossier so that the public and our members know why a
decision was taken to sack Khalid from the party," PKR Petra Jaya branch
chairman Baharuddin Mokhsen told reporters today.
He said various allegations
and claims have been hurled at the party leaderships as the people are unaware
of the information that led to Khalid's sacking.
"Many people blamed the
leadership, especially PKR adviser Anwar Ibrahim, for the crisis in Selangor and the removal of Khalid
as PKR member," he said.
The dossier centred on a court
case between Khalid and Bank Islam over an unpaid RM59 million loan.
The court case is now pending before
the Federal Court. Khalid lost his case to Bank Islam in the High Court and the
Court of Appeal.
Recently, a substantial sum of
the loan was said to have been paid by a businessman linked to Umno.
The dossier also contained the
approval of a state land worth over RM1 billion for a housing project to a company owned by an
Umno businessman as well as Khalid's approval to increase toll charges.
These are some of the examples
of information that affects the embattled chief minister, Baharuddin said.
He said some of the things
that Khalid did were against Pakatan Rakyat's Buku Jingga and election pledges.
Baharuddin said the
information was leaked out by Khalid's political aide to the party leadership.
He said the aide knows what
are going on in the chief minister's office, and he does not like it.
Baharuddin dismissed reports
and claims that the decision to remove Khalid as chief minister was only made
recently.
He added the decision to
remove Khalid was made on Jan 15, 2014 and on Jan 21, he was informed of the
decision.
"He agreed to step down
on condition that (PKR deputy president) Azmin Ali should not take over from
him," he said, adding that it is not true that the decision to remove
Khalid was made only recently.
Baharuddin said that members
of the party's supreme council were giving their support "100 %" to
remove Khalid.
"Therefore, it is wrong
to say that the decision was made by Anwar alone," he said.
"The whole situation in
Selangor has become murky because of the involvement of Umno. In fact, it was a
simple case of PKR asking Khalid to step down because of his integrity problem.
"And when Umno comes in,
the situation has become murky," he said.
He said initially many PAS
leaders were unaware of the information affecting Khalid's integrity and that
was why they supported him.
"By now, they are aware
of the information and they may change their stand towards Khalid,"
Baharuddin said.
