KUCHING, Sept 13 2026: The air quality in Lubok Antu is the only one left to be categorised as very unhealthy as at 10am this morning, according to the Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB) in its Facebook post.
The weather monitoring station recorded the air pollutant index (API) reading at 201 level.
The air quality in Serian, which was categorised as very unhealthy last night, is now categorised as unhealthy.
The API reading in Serian was recorded at 184 level.
Overall, the air quality across Sarawak has improved significantly over the last few days.
The monitoring stations recorded nine locations with air quality as unhealthy as nine locations with moderate air quality category.
Bario is the only location with “good” air quality status.
The API reading in Bario was at 48 level.
