Kuching (Dec 11, 2011): Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Peter Chin Fah Kui is the new president of the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP), taking over from Tan Sri Dr George Chan who stepped down after 15 years in office.
Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Richard Riot is the new deputy president in the line-up which also saw many new faces holding key posts.
Riot took over from Tan Sri Law HIeng Ding.
The powerful post of secretary-general went to Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian, taking over from Datuk Sim Kheng Hui.
Datuk David Teng, who had earlier decided to step down as treasurer-general, however, agreed to remain.
