He is expected to speak at 'The Public Agenda' session during the summit at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on 18 May.
He will share Sarawak's own experience in driving economic development while reducing carbon intensity and how policy coordination, cross-border clean energy cooperation and long-term capital can be brought together to accelerate green prosperity.
He will also touch on Sarawak’s strategy in aligning policies, legislation and institutions under a comprehensive long-term vision — from the Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030) to the Sarawak Sustainability Action Plan, Sarawak Energy Transition Policy, and Sarawak Hydrogen Economy Roadmap.
Organised by the Philanthropy Asia Alliance, the summit, will focus on Asian innovations with the potential to be showcased globally, as well as cross-sector collaboration.
It brings together leaders from philanthropy, business and government to explore how science, technology, innovative financing and cross-sector collaboration can drive bold solutions in the areas of climate, health and inclusive development.
He is scheduled to deliver a keynote address and meet with Singapore’s Minister of Manpower, Tan See Leng, to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, he is also scheduled to hold high-profile meetings with Temasek Trust and Equatic, which are expected to focus on discussions related to the energy sector and various other matters.
