Church of God receiving land title deed from Sarikei Land and Survey office

BINTANGOR, Sept 5 2026: Church of God in Bintangor received a land title deed for religious purposes, thus enabling the construction of a chapel as a more comfortable and conducive worship facility for believers and the local community.

Meradong State Legislative Member (SLM) Ding Kuong Hiing said the approval of the land is an important development in the effort to provide religious facilities that are more suitable for the needs of believers.

“The chapel facility that will be developed will not only be a conducive place of worship, but also have the potential to support the implementation of various religious and community activities,” he said.

He said this during the handover ceremony of the land title deed at the Sarikei Division Land and Survey Department Office yesterday.

Ding also expressed his appreciation to the department for its cooperation in the approval and hand-over of the land title.
